Are you struggling to hold it together?

Are you tired of the constant battle with anxiety or depression that's taking over your life? It may feel like you're constantly on edge, plagued by racing thoughts, and trapped in a cycle of worry and fear.

Are you struggling to experience genuine happiness in your relationships and achievements? Is it hard to feel comfortable and relaxed? Maybe you just feel sad all the time, and you don't know why or can't shake that low mood.

This may have been triggered by a specific event, or it may just be a constant feeling you can't seem to get rid of, however much you try. Anxiety or depression may be holding you back from fully enjoying life, pursuing your goals, and forming meaningful connections.

You're tired of feeling caught in this cycle:

  • Feeling tired all the time and lacking motivation?
  • Stuck in a low mood, like a dark cloud is over you?
  • Wondering what's the point?
  • A constant feeling of restlessness or feeling on the edge?
  • You can't seem to get out of your own head?
  • Difficulty sleeping or staying asleep?
  • A sense of detachment from oneself and others.
  • Feel like your heart is racing or having trouble catching your breath?
  • Feeling overwhelmed or like you can't cope with life?
  • Worrying about what others think of you or feeling unhappy with your relationships?

How I Can Help

Anxiety therapy can help you feel hope and experience calm

I understand the overwhelming impact anxiety can have on your everyday life and overall well-being. Through counselling at my Finchley practice, we'll work together to understand what's really going on beneath the surface. I believe anxiety isn't just a chemical imbalance or something you're born with – it's often connected to your experiences, relationships, and the patterns you've developed over time.

In our therapy sessions, we'll start by looking at what's bringing you to therapy and how it's impacting your life: when you first noticed it, how often it's showing up in your day-to-day, and what you've done in the past to help address it. Giving you the space to unpack and be heard can be healing.

Together, we will take the time to understand your story and what you've experienced. We'll look at your childhood, early relationships, and current patterns. The culture you grew up in and the beliefs and values you hold. By examining these things, we can begin to tie the threads of your life together with what you're noticing today. This insight can be liberating, helping you to see options instead of limiting beliefs, giving you hope for a new way forward.

While medication can help manage physical symptoms, understanding and addressing the root causes of your anxiety through psychotherapy is key to lasting change. You don't have to continue feeling broken and like this is out of your control – there is a path to feeling more peaceful, confident, and less stressed.

Imagine if you ...

Felt confident in who you are.

Feel confident and self-assured in yourself and your abilities. Trust in your decisions, beliefs, and actions without the interference of excessive worry or self-criticism.

Had healthy, fulfilling relationships.

Communicate effectively with others, express your emotions, and establish trust. Confidently engage with others and form deeper, more meaningful connections. Communicate your needs and develop stronger bonds with those around you.

Feel a sense of hope about the future.

Begin to see a brighter future full of promise and possibilities. A sense of control over your thoughts and emotions, leading to a feeling of empowerment and positivity.

I want you to know:

Change is possible.

I see you, and I know it doesn’t have to be this way.

Anxiety and depression counselling can help you lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
