Welcome to My Practice

BACP & UKCP Accredited Psychotherapist in Finchley and Online

You're here because you're ready to feel different.

You're tired of feeling like life is out of your control and there's nothing you can do to feel better. Maybe someone has suggested you try therapy, or you have been thinking about it for a while. You know you can't keep feeling this way, and your relationships are suffering.

About Me

Hi, I'm Belinda!

I know that being human and living in this world can sometimes seem difficult. Life doesn't come with a manual, and we frequently feel overwhelmed and unable to cope with the situations we find ourselves in. This can lead us to feel anxious, depressed, and physically ill. Life is messy and unpredictable at times; it can lead to us feeling disconnected from others and lacking in passion and meaning.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process. Rather than telling you what to do, I:

  • Listen and question your unique way of being in the world
  • Support, guide, and when necessary, challenge your views
  • Help you understand your emotions, values, and beliefs
  • Help you to be more compassionate and accepting of how your life is, in order to help you get to where you want to be.
  • Create a friendly, relaxed, and warm space for you to be yourself

My Core Beliefs About Therapy

Embrace Who You Are

There is no "normal" or perfect way to live life. We are all individuals, and that should be celebrated. Sometimes we just need to sit with someone who gets it and who can guide us to the place we want to be.

Invest in Yourself

Therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable and able to fully be yourself, and you never know, we might even have a laugh too. Yes, it involves uncomfortable conversations, but through these, you will heal and grow.

Live Fully

Life is a precious gift but also a scary ride. I believe happiness is something we choose, not just something we are. It's not what happens to us in life but how we think about it, and we all have the power to control our mindset.
